The September Edmonton & Area 567 Club General meeting held on Sept.4/2024
Start @ 7 p.m 10 members present
Reviewed the August minutes & discussed the bank account, all ok no outstanding debts & all info was passed by those present..
The bank account is V.G.....
A honorable mention to our Pie Eating Champion from our Event in August - Don Cornish , No one can beat him, multi time champ And to Kery Samandzija for winning the Ladies Sparkplug challenge..
Have not been contacted from the folks at the Christ City Lighthouse pertaining to out involvement with them, as of YET..
There are still some Show n Shines around the area but the season and weather is causing some concerns...
Also like to Welcome to the club, Mr. Buck Sackman & his 4 door 1956 Chevy... You may have seen his "ride" at various shows.. WELCOME BUCK !!!!!
Discussion on club events to start at the Oct. meeting for 2025...
As of this print, the club has not made any "moves" to be at the Quick-Times Swap Meet on Oct.12..
Dave & Gene will be there as usual, however..
If any members that get contacted to have our group appear at a event, please let everyone know so we can make arrangements to attend..
The ESRA would like us to appear at their 2025 show n shine as a club, that is one so far..
As Winter gets closer, some of the members will be "upgrading" their vehicles or working on new projects.. let's hear on how things are working out for ya'...
It is not too early to discuss the Annual club Christmas dinner, lets work on this, eh..
Next meeting on Oct 2nd @ the National RV Siding Building, located at 14305-121A-Ave, 7 p.m
This is a important meeting because the ballots for the Annual Bernie McIvor Memorial award will be passed out to those present.. This a annually given out to a member who displays the outstanding contribution to the car club for the 2024 year..
