WE WENT OVER JUNE/JULY'S MINUTES, AND ALL INFO WAS ACCEPTED BY THOSE PRESENT

                                                                       

THE TREASURER'S REPORT WAS GIVEN & ALL OK IN THE ACCOUNT..

                                                                        

ALL THE $$$$ FROM OUR AWARD SPONSORS HAVE BEEN ACCEPTED & DEPOSITED..

                                                                      

 ONCE AGAIN OUR SPONSORS DID NOT DISAPPOINT US, THANK-YOU TO ALL !!!!!

                                                                       

AS YOU ARE AWARE, THE CLUB IS ASSISTING THE CHRIST CITY LIGHTHOUSE CHURCH WITH THE ANNUAL SHOW N SHINE ON AUGUST 24/2024.. 

                                                                       

LETS WELCOME OUR NEWEST MEMBER - MR. BUCK SACKMAN, OWNER OF A NICE 1956 CHEVY 4 DOOR..

                                                                      

THE SHOW N SHINE WAS HEAVERLY AFFECTED BY THE WEATHER & THAT WAS EVENDENT BY THE ENTRY COUNT,

                                                                      

THERE WAS 60+ ENTRIES, EVERYONE THAT DID APPEAR HAD A GOOD TIME, PLEASE VIEW SOME OF THE EVENT "PICS"..

                                                                     

 AS THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME THAT THE CHURCH GOT INVOLVED WITH A CAR CLUB & THERE WAS SOME "HIC-UPS"

                                                                     

AT THE END ( AWARD PRESENTATIONS ) . THERE WAS A SILENT AUCTION AS WELL, WITH SOME GREAT ITEMS, WHICH ADDED TO THE EVENT FUNDS.

                                                                     

A SPECIAL THANK-YOU GOES OUT TO CRAIG & BRAD FROM CHRISTCITY LIGHTHOUSE FOR THERE ASSISTANCE PLUS MANY OF THE GANG FROM CHRIST CITY LIGHTHOUSE ALSO.

Minutes May. June. July

 

Edmonton & Area 567 club minutes ( May, June & July ) 

 Hey Gang, very sorry not to get each month listed as I had some unusual family issues to deal with & time just went by so what I have done is go gather the 3 months & kind of put it in a package set-up.... Just to let you know, we have all our sponsors back for our event in August.. 

The Date is August 24 and we have teamed up with the ChristCity Lighthouse church for what will be a exciding and interesting event.. Dubbed " Wheels, Wheels & More Wheels".The classes that we are having are, They are All Year's truck, Best of the Pre-50s, Best tri-5s ( 1955,1956 &1957), Best of the 60s, Best of the 70's, Best engine detail, Top Member ( Edmonton & area 567 Club members only), Long Haul & Special Interest.. A very special thank-you to Maximum Mechanical, Precision Performance, Greasy D's Rod & Kustom,Tri-5 & Muscle,Cougar Paint & Collision, National RV Siding, Dawson Motors & Route 99 diner... THANK-YOU SO MUCH !!!!!!! 

 May - we had a shop tour & BBQ at Kustom King in Spruce Grove ( attached photo) our Bank acct was V.G.. some of the members attended the 3 club S/S at BlackJack's on May 25.. And the club had a couple of tables at the Spring Swap meet at Red Deer ( promote our club and sell some items) ...and a Q & A of the August Show n Shine.. 

 June - we discussed our cruise to Calmar for June 15 ( Ice cream cruise).. The Bank acct is still strong... Some of the members talked about upcoming Events and had attended them.. Like the ESRA Summer cruise down at the Equine center, The Parkinsons Show n Shine, Father's day S/S, Ukrainian Village S/S & the Iron Indians Annual all GM S/S.. And the August S/S was touched on.. 

 

July - Discussion amount those on upcoming S/S's like Stony Plain,Tofield Legion, Millet S/S, Quicktimes outdoor Swap meet, The WCM in Saskatoon Reynolds Museam S/S and others.. The club donated $500.00 to the Saskatoon WCM this year. 

 And yes our Bank account is V.G ( holding it's own) After the Millet S/S we all drove over to Don & Laurie's for a BBQ.. NO one had any items for sale or looking for anything that I am not aware of and at each meeting we held a 50/50 draw...Speaking of the 50/50 and our August event 

 

We need door Prizes !!!.... so Please approach the people you know to help us out... Till August, we hope to keep in touch..

Next meeting is August 7/2024 @ National RV building ( Upstairs) @ 7 p.m.... Keep the sunnyside up !
