The Edmonton & Area 567 club December meeting minutes
Held at the New West hotel, Dec. 5, 2018 13 members present
Interm Prez Jim K. read the Nov. minutes & all members accepted with no issues.
The Club Treasurer’s report was given & the club account is in good standing,

The club’s Spring Swap meet location that Norm’s agent was to check out was a “no go” . Securing the location was the issue, Jim K. to have a response from the folks at Millenium Place, as per a location. The date is in April, which does not interfere with the Swap Meets in Stony Plain & Red Deer. The location in Sherwood Park will have the area downsized however.. Possible 77 10X10 stalls available, down from the previous 137 stalls (in a larger area.)
More discussion on a club Raffle, the ticket cost is 1 for $2.00 or 3 for $5.00 with 3 prizes to be offered. Approx. 1500 -200 tickets to be printed. More to be discussed & finalized. Idea is to have it ready for Swap Meet time..
The Annual club Christmas party is to be held at Norm & Zoe’s house on Dec.8.A Potluck style supper & call Norm ahead to let him know if you are attending.
The Saskatoon 567 group are bringing back the “Western Canada Meet” in July 2019. We have been approached to see what our interest is and to be a sponsor. At the Nov. meeting, we as a group voted to present them with a $250.00 cheque to aid in sponsoring & advertising. Jim is to send the cheque out to Saskatoon 567 group very soon.
The club’s website has been reworked & is up and running, Thank-you Rebecca (our new website “guru”) for all your hard work.. She is still working on a better layout for the website as well, the sponsorship list to be worked on.
Our club’s new insurance has been applied for, it will save us a “ton” of money. This is offered to all car clubs thru Speciality Vehicle Association of Alberta with the same coverage as what Comp. Insurance has offered us in the past.. Jim is waiting for a reply from them regarding our application.
